Samuel Grace
Founding Artistic Director
Conductor Samuel Grace is best known in the Twin Cities for his thirst for new music and creative collaborations in the choral world. In addition to his role with MPLS (imPulse), Samuel serves as Director of Music Ministry at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church. In his free time, Samuel can often be found riding his bike, playing with his dog, or cooking with his family. Samuel holds degrees from Gustavus Adolphus College (B.A.), The University of Minnesota (M.M.), and Indiana University (D.M.).

Amy Hahn is a Group Director at Beehive Strategic Communication, focused on helping businesses use communication to solve complex business challenges and make a meaningful difference and uses those skills to support MPLS (imPulse) marketing and messaging. Amy is a lifelong singer, starting with Northfield Youth Choirs and previously singing with both MPLS (imPulse) and Magnum Chorum. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking and making very slow progress on knitting a sweater.
Bradley Beale (he/him/his)

Bradley Beale is on the Music Faculty at Bethel University overseeing the Music Education program, directing multiple choirs, and teaching a variety of music, education, and general education courses. His background working with arts organizations and maintaining budgets for music programs allows him to effectively oversee budgeting for MPLS (imPulse). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and cat, attending concerts and sporting events, reading, and making music.
Carey Shunskis (she/her/hers)
Carey Shunskis is an educator and singer based in the Twin Cities. She is the Music and Program Director of ComMUSICation, a nonprofit dedicated to amplifying young voices and cultivating skills for success through equitable access to music, collaboration, and opportunity. Carey became involved with MPLS (imPulse) through a partnership with ComMUSICation and has been singing with the group ever since. Carey brings her passion for community-centered music making to the Board.
