We LOVE New Music!
MPLS (imPulse) prides itself as an ensemble dedicated to new music. Are you a composer, songwriter, or music creator? We are considering new scores to purchase for future projects. Do you have music you would be interested in sharing with us? If so, please consider the following:

- MPLS (imPulse) is a mixed chamber chorus. Please submit music suitable for 8-32 voices (mixed voices, treble chorus, or tenor/bass chorus are acceptable). While most of the music we perform is unaccompanied, accompanying instrument(s) are welcome.
- Music can be submitted in any format: notated music, recordings, lead sheets, etc.
- Text, if used, must be in the public domain or include written permission from the author (or parent/legal guardian if the author is under the age of 18).
- MPLS (imPulse) develops thematic performances each year. We are currently seeking scores for March 2023 that reflect the following themes: monsters, storytelling, folk tales, pirates, sea creatures, tall tales, etc.
- We accept scores on a rolling basis. General submissions are always encouraged for future programming. Scores for consideration this season will be accepted through December 1, 2023. Final programming decisions this season will be made no later than January 15, 2024.
- MPLS (imPulse) has made an organizational commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and to addressing disparities and inequities within our organization and community. Artists who represent historically excluded groups are strongly encouraged to send music for consideration.
