Join the MPLS (imPulse) Board of Directors
MPLS (imPulse) is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for our Board of Directors. As a growing organization heading into our fourth season, we are seeking two individuals who desire to help us continue to grow and fulfill our mission.
Our ideal candidates will honor our mission statement and board expectations, while enthusiastically serving on board committees, contributing creative ideas and solutions, and working collaboratively with fellow board members on larger initiatives.

MPLS (imPulse) envisions the re-imagination of the typical choral ensemble in a changing world.

Board Expectations
MPLS (imPulse) Committees:
Marketing Committee
The marketing committee manages all promotion-related activities, including, but not limited to: social media, blog, website, advertising, online ticketing, concert programs.
Finance Committee
The finance committee will manage all things related to the MPLS (imPulse) financials, including, but not limited to: payroll process, budget monitoring, donation tracking.
Fundraising Committee
The fundraising committee is responsible for leading the efforts in raising contributed income, including, but not limited to: Give to the Max Day campaign, concert donation outreach, annual fundraising letter campaign, acknowledge donations received, grants.
Logistics Committee
The Logistics Committee is responsible for all concert/ singer related planning and activities, including, but not limited to: volunteer management, concert planning, music organization and distribution.
Start Date: August 1, 2017
Board Expectations
- Attend scheduled board meetings
- Participate in one (or more) board committee(s)
- Come prepared to each board meeting with a report on your MPLS (imPulse) related activities since the previous meeting (i.e. committee involvement or projects)
- Help create and sustain an action-oriented environment at each board meeting
- Attend performances
- Recruit 2 first-time ticket buyers every concert
- Financially contribute to MPLS (imPulse) at any dollar level each year of service - our goal is to have 100% board participation.
MPLS (imPulse) Committees:
