Hearth Songs
This season, MPLS (imPulse) pilots its new miniPulse program with Hearth Songs. Presented in collaboration with Corner Coffee, a pared down choir of four singers will perform in three intimate coffee shop venues. Featuring David Lang's Pulitzer Prize-winning piece the little match girl passion, you are invited to escape the winter's cold, gather around the musical hearth and share a warm beverage with us. You will also have the opportunity to sample various kinds of craft coffee, learn about the roasting and brewing processes, and engage directly with musicians and baristas. Performances will take place at Corner Coffee North Loop (February 21), Uptown (February 22), and Camden (February 23).

We are thrilled to welcome Associate Conductor, Ryan LaBoy, in his MPLS (imPulse) conducting debut!
